Though Jesus assures us that He will never leave nor forsake us, how often have we "cut and run" when our faith got tested or trials seemed to come like ocean waves which pounded away at us constantly? Jesus' disciples, the precious eleven who were trusted beyond all others, in a content abandoned their Rabbi, their Lord, and their Savior. Thankfully, that is not how the story ends. So if you have recently abandoned God, it is never to late to run back to Him.
