Though Israel heard about his son Reubon and his concubine Bilhah, the bible doesn't say that anything came of it bad or otherwise. Perhaps Israel was to old to bother reprimanding him? The telling of the account however leads the reader to believe that this was not smiled upon. I'm curious however where his sons were finding wives if they wetter surrounded by sisters/cousins and servants. At this time in the bible, keeping it in the family was all the rage for marriage. It isn't until leviticus and deuteronomy that God finally closes the door on incest, bestiality, and other improper sexual unions.
